Jeanne De Vivier Brown

Jeanne De Vivier Brown is one of the legendary talent coordinators of Hollywood. In an average year, she places over two hundred name actors and actresses in everything from TV shows and commercials to personal appearances and telethons.

Motion picture producers rely on her expertise to seek out and negotiate the star names they need for their feature films. She secured Martin Landau for Intercontinental Releasing’s Access Code, Eartha Kitt for Eastern Media’s Serpent Warrior, and William Shatner for the award-winning A Whale of a Tale. For Dick Clark Productions, she booked two highly rated ABC-TV specials, The Funniest Joke I Ever Heard Part I (hosted by Robert Urich and Heather Thomas) and The Funniest Joke I Ever Heard Part II (hosted by Robert Urich and Priscilla Barnes). Guests included everyone from George Burns and Jack Lemmon to William Shatner and Brooke Shields.

She has been responsible for the talent on many talk/variety shows, including The Donald O’Connor Show, The Allen Ludden Show, The Barbara McNair Show and The Real Tom Kennedy Show. In addition, she has cast numerous game shows, including Truth or Consequences, Masquerade Party, Celebrity, Crosswits, Let’s Make a Deal, and Hollywood Squares.

Mrs. Brown also collected recipes from over 50 celebrity friends, including Bob Hope, Betty White, Ernest Borgnine, Zsa Zsa Gabor and Shirley McLaine for The Hollywood Stars Cookbook.
